
BBC Learning have commissioned Mandrake Films to produce Teen Legal Eagles (working title). With unprecedented access to in the inside of a courtroom at the Old Bailey, this series explores the British legal system in a new way; young people from UK state schools take on the roles of barrister, defendant, witness and jury.

Mandrake Films ran the Specialist Factual New Talent Pitch at Sheffield Docfest on 11th June, in collaboration with Discovery Channel Europe, chaired by James Cracknell OBE. The winner was Karl Byrne, Science and Interpretation Officer at Mindworks in Glasgow. Karl will make a new talent film with the Discovery Channel.
